What are Discera's plans and quotas?

Billing·May 31, 2026·2 min·By Discera Team

Discera plans: Trial (100 calls / 30 days), Starter ($29 / 300), Growth ($79 / 1000), Scale ($199 / 3500). Add-ons available.

TL;DR

Four plans: Trial (free, 30 days, 100 calls), Starter ($29 / 300 calls / 90-day retention), Growth ($79 / 1,000 / 1-year), Scale ($199 / 3,500 / unlimited retention). After the trial, the workspace enters a 30-day read-only grace period, then data is purged. Pricing on the website is sourced from Stripe and is authoritative — this article describes the shape, not the absolute numbers if they change.

Concurrency limits scale with plan — Growth runs up to 10 analyses simultaneously, Scale up to 30. Starter runs one at a time. Daily and weekly schedule counts are also plan-gated.

Trial mechanics

Every new workspace lands on Trial automatically. No card required. You get 100 calls and 30 days of full feature access. Whichever runs out first ends the trial. When it ends, the workspace enters a 30-day read-only grace period — existing reports stay visible, but new analyses are locked. After the grace period, workspace data is purged (account shell retained). Upgrade any time to keep running analyses.

Starter vs higher tiers

Starter is the right entry point when you want to run scheduled weekly analyses or need reports visible for more than a month (90-day retention). Growth and Scale unlock higher concurrency, longer retention, and advanced features.

Custom and pilot plans

For larger deployments, regulated industries, or self-hosted requirements, contact hello@discera.ai. Custom plans bypass Stripe and are admin-granted with negotiated quota, retention, and feature set. Pilot plans are similar but time-boxed for evaluation.

Pricing source of truth

The pricing page on the marketing site reads from Stripe directly. If anything in this article disagrees with the pricing page or the checkout flow, trust those — Stripe is the source of truth, the docs are not.

§ Common questions

Frequently asked.

What counts as one analyzed call?

One call going through the LLM analysis stage equals one call against quota. A Preview that returns counts but doesn't run the LLM does not consume quota. Pre-LLM cancels and `no_match` runs consume zero.

What happens when I exceed quota mid-month?

The API returns HTTP 402 with upgrade options. Existing reports stay visible. You can buy a 100-call add-on, upgrade the plan, or wait for the next monthly reset. See [What happens when I hit my quota?](/help/billing/quota-exceeded).

Do unused calls roll over to next month?

Plan quota does not roll over — each month's quota resets at your billing anchor date. Add-on packs do roll over indefinitely. Buy add-ons when you want quota you can save up.

What happens after the trial ends?

After the trial (30 days or 100 calls, whichever comes first), the workspace enters a 30-day read-only grace period. Existing reports stay visible but new analyses are locked. After the grace period, workspace data is purged and the account shell is retained. Upgrade any time — before or during grace — to keep running analyses.
